How does AttackEdge pricing work?

One meter: scan units. Solo (A$39/month) includes 15 scan units per month, SMB (A$99/month) includes 50. One scan covers one site (one host = one scan = one unit). You decide how to spend them: scan some sites every week, or many sites once a month. If you only need one report, the A$149 Snapshot is a single one-off purchase covering up to 15 of your sites in one bundled report. MSP / Agency is contact-sales with pooled scan units.

Can I scan the same site multiple times?

Yes. Each manual or scheduled scan uses one scan unit, whether it is a different site or the same site being rechecked. The same host can be scanned up to 4 times in any 24-hour window, so you can retest after a fix without waiting a full day.

What happens if I run out of scan units?

Accepted Answer

Scheduled scans pause until your next billing cycle. Until then you can either wait it out or buy a Scan Pack (A$19 / US$12 for 10 extra scan units, current cycle only). Existing reports, history, and assets stay accessible.

How should I split my scan units?

Accepted Answer

However suits your shape. A common Solo pattern is 5 sites scanned monthly, with the spare 10 units used for retests, deployments, and ad-hoc checks. A common SMB pattern is 15 sites scanned monthly, leaving headroom for the same. If you would rather scan a smaller number of sites every week, that works just as well: it is the same unit count.

Do I need to declare my assets up front?

No. Add sites whenever you want. The scan unit budget is what is metered, not the asset list. You can have many sites set up and only scan the ones you care about this cycle. We never auto-scan things under your domain without your say-so.

What if I add www.example.com.au but other subdomains exist?

Accepted Answer

We scan only the exact hostname you ask us to. We also passively discover other subdomains under example.com.au (mail., shop., dev., staging., and so on) and show them as "discovered, not scanning". You opt in to any you want scanned; each scheduled or manual scan against them uses one scan unit.

Will you scan example.com.au if I add www.example.com.au?

Accepted Answer

No. We only scan the exact hostname you add. We surface example.com.au (the apex) in the discovered list so you can choose to monitor it, but we never silently scan the apex on your behalf.

Is this a penetration test?

Accepted Answer

No. AttackEdge is an external security scanning and monitoring product. It looks for common internet-facing exposures and misconfigurations. It does not replace a manual penetration test.

Question 9

Do you fix the issues for me?

Accepted Answer

No. AttackEdge gives you a clear report with technical detail you can send to your web developer, IT provider, or MSP. We do not change your systems or provide remediation consulting.

What is the difference between a Snapshot and a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Snapshot is one purchase, one comprehensive report covering up to 15 of your sites in a single scan, with a 30-day download window. You list the hosts; we do not enumerate. No portal, no asset inventory. A subscription is the full product: ongoing scans on your cadence, the portal, asset discovery, scan history, and a fresh report on every scan.

I run an agency or MSP — is there a partner option?

Yes. MSP / Agency is contact-sales: pooled scan units across client workspaces, co-brandable PDF reports, and bespoke pricing by size and cadence. Email partners@attackedge.io to scope a fit.

Question 12

How does annual billing work?

Accepted Answer

Annual on Solo and SMB gives you 12 months for the price of 10 (two months free). Scan units reset each month within the annual term, same as monthly billing.

Question 13

Why does the price differ in AUD and USD?

Accepted Answer

The AUD prices are not a direct conversion. They reflect what AU buyers expect to see on a SaaS pricing page, and AUD is the default in Australia. USD is shown for buyers outside Australia and we settle to USD via Wise.

Does cancelling refund the current period?

Accepted Answer

No. Cancellation stops future charges and your monitoring continues to the end of the current billing period. Exceptional refunds (billing errors, duplicate charges, a service we could not deliver) are handled manually over email. Full detail on the refund page.

Where is my payment data stored?

Accepted Answer

Stripe handles every charge. We do not see or store your card details. Your account, scan results, and report metadata live in Fly.io Postgres in Sydney. Report artifacts are stored in Cloudflare R2.
